I started playing
with black and white photography as a child, joining my
father in the dark room to witness the magic of the emerging
image. I somehow managed to create a dark room space
wherever I went including a memorable one in the X-ray
department of an African mission hospital.
Digital photography
appealed and after an early Ricoh followed by a Canon 300 D,
I was sold on the process.
I take my photos
more by the inspiration of the moment than by careful
planning. Portraits are usually spontaneous and often
grabbed. I love to photograph while travelling and the tiny
picture on the back of the camera generates pleasure and
thanks.
I enjoy the
challenge and especially the learning process and through
the club have increased enthusiasm to improve.
