I only became really interested in photography after retirement in 2005. Prior to this my photography entailed taking holiday snaps etc. However now I’m pretty much obsessed by it.

I have always liked walking and relish the relative quietness and feeling of solitude in the countryside and especially, as a photographer, on the coast. My favourite place to take photographs is the Highlands of Scotland,

I hope to continue a steady improvement with the images I produce, but the more I discover about photography the more I need to know and learn. I prefer to do minimal digital processing as I’m not keen on sitting in front of a computer and would rather be out photographing.
